Wetzer buys these grapes from a friend in Tokaj and drives them to Sopron himself in a rented truck. Once the furmint arrives at the winery, it’s manually crushed and then aged in 500L new Hungarian barrels.

This wine has citrus fruit boarding on exotic fruit with a hint of spearmint on the finish… a hallmark of Tokaji furmint. The volcanic soil provides plenty of minerality to perfectly balance out the wine.
